Santa is coming to Oakland on Saturday, December 12, 2026! Bring the family downtown for A Great Small Town Christmas, with holiday activities throughout the day, a Christmas parade, and the community tree lighting right after the parade.
Stop for a cup of hot cocoa as you make your way through town, and swing by the Bakers Market in the A&E District for holiday treats. Kids can visit with Santa, write him a letter, listen to Christmas stories, and make a holiday craft.
Then find a spot along the parade route and stick around afterward to watch the Christmas tree light up with friends and neighbors.
Mark your calendar for December 12. We’ll share the full schedule and locations as the celebration gets closer!
