The Town of Oakland is pleased to announce the dates for the annual Spring Bulk Clean-Up!

The town will be providing residents with an opportunity to dispose of large or unwanted household items and freshen up their properties for the season.

📅 Clean-Up Schedule:

April 27th – May 1st

During this week, the Town’s maintenance team will conduct bulk item collection throughout the community. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this service as part of our shared effort to maintain a clean, safe, and attractive town environment.

Preparation Guidelines -

To help ensure a smooth and efficient pickup process, residents are asked to:

• Place items at the curb in a neat and organized manner

• Have items out at the earliest, the night prior to the scheduled collection day

• Avoid blocking sidewalks, roadways, or drainage areas

Prohibited Items –

   *   Commercial Waste

    *  LIQUID waste

  *   Including containers of paint, batteries, propane tanks, large automobile parts

   *   YARD WASTE, BRUSH, STUMPS, and large quantities (over 100 pounds per household) of construction or demolition debris.

    *   Also prohibited for this event will be refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, or any other appliance with refrigerant.

 The Town of Oakland appreciates the cooperation of all residents in helping keep our community clean and welcoming this spring.
