Town of Oakland Announces Results of 2026 Municipal Election
The Town of Oakland held its municipal election on Monday, March 9, 2026, to select the next Mayor and members of the Town Council. After the ballots were counted, the following results were recorded.
For the office of Mayor, Andrew Sauder received 75 votes.
For the office of Town Council, Robert “Scott” Lohr received 77 votes, while Jeremiah Pina and Tonya Helbig each received 71 votes.
The Town of Oakland thanks all candidates for their willingness to serve the community and appreciates the residents who participated in the election. Municipal elections play an important role in ensuring local representation and community involvement in town government.
The newly elected officials will serve terms in accordance with the Town Charter and will be sworn in at an upcoming meeting of the Mayor and Town Council.
