Façade Improvement Grant Review Process Completed

Thanks to all applicants for submitting your applications for the Town of Oakland Façade Improvement Grant FY 2027 and for the time and effort dedicated to preparing your proposal. We received 18 applications and are providing $55,000.00 in total funding.

Individual letters of acceptance or denial have been sent.

These decisions were reached after a highly competitive evaluation process. While all the projects that were submitted demonstrated merit, we had limited resources and were unable to fund all of them.

While all decisions are final there are some observations that were made during the review process that may help with more competitive grant applications in the future.

Some of these included:

1.)   Paying close attention to funding guidelines for both the scope of work and financial parameters.

2.)   Completing all information as requested in the application.

We encourage all of you to consider applying when future funding opportunities arise.
